Thank you for taking the time to look at our accessibility guidance. We have listed some information here but please do contact us to ensure that we can meet your access needs. We have been involved in the Marketing Peak District accessibility awareness training and if we can help in any way then please do ask.
Hayloft Cottage is our most accessible cottage if a physical disability limits your movement. With the exception of the threshold and one step into the lounge area, the cottage has a twin room, kitchen, lounge and bathroom all on the ground floor.
We’d be delighted to help in any way possible. We can offer a familiarisation tour of each cottage on arrival or check in with a guest at regular intervals if required. We can provide some needs specific equipment such as a vibrating alarm clock for hearing impaired guests. Please do not hesitate to ask us.

We have spare Radar keys here if you need to borrow one

Clark and Partners is a Sheffield based mobility equipment supplier. We can work with them and you to rent any specialist mobility equipment for the duration of your stay. They can deliver and collect; beds, mattresses, a hoist or wheelchair
In return for a donation to charity, a wheelchair can sometimes be borrowed from the visitor centre in Bakewell (01629 813227) and also the Evelyn Health Centre in Hope (01433 621557)
Coming to The Peak District and Derbyshire
From taking a swim at Hathersage outdoor swimming pool (which has a hoist) to hiring the Boma 7 all terrain wheelchair at Parsley Hay, there are plenty of accessible things to see and do in this wonderful part of the country.
