Great holiday here in the Peaks, our 9th visit to the National Park but our first time in this cottage. The upside down layout of the cottage worked well and the living area is so lovely and light, wonderful views around and we loved the peace and quiet. Brilliant location for all our favorite walks including Monsal Head. Lost Lad (Ladybower and Derwent Reservoirs) and of course Kinder Scout, the origin of the Park. These are must do walks if you haven’t done them before. Mam Tor is also good. Thanks, Marian and Martin, we’ve had a great time here in your lovely cottage.

Truly beautiful, fabulous location. Ernie & Bouncer loved the run in the open fields every morning and evening. Curbar Edge was well worth a visit, highly recommended. Also Derwent Dam is a well preserved place to walk around.

A most enjoyable stay. Charming spot for seeing all the Peak District has to offer, the cottage had everything we needed – including a high chair for our 6 month old. Can recommend meals in the Royal Oak (Hurdlow) and Bull’s Head (Monyash). Wood burner was terrific! Will certainly come again. Many thanks
