A very enjoyable few days in the cottage and Derbyshire. It’s our third visit, although the previous two were in the Hayloft. Both cottages are comfortable and well equipped. Spent one day at Chatsworth Country Fair and the rest walking around the local area. We just about completed a marathon in total! We ate at the Royal Oak, Hurdlow who are dog-friendly but need prior booking (esp at weekends). We will definitely be back!
Sleath & Reading & Moly the cairn – Aug 18
Corbar Edge a must! A secret hidden valley – Litton Mill to Cressbrook (don’t tell too many people!). We loved the location and explored all around but more to see! Cottage cosy and warm and well equipped. Thanks from all! Would recommend a retreat to a place of silence/peace regularly!
Simon, Kaune, Molly, Andrei & Spot – Aug 18
A lovely quiet break with everything we needed. A few days to recharge here was just what we needed. The cottage had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Clean and tidy with comfy beds. Thanks, hope to visit again.

A very peaceful, relaxing break – just what we needed. Weather very hot – glad we bought a fan!! A lovely cottage with stunning views. Bakewell was lovely – plenty of places to eat. Haddon Hall a great place to spend a day. We shall certainly be back.

Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our first visit to the Peak District, hopefully not our last. Especially enjoyed Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall.
