A perfect location to escape from city life and enjoy the fire whilst strong gales and snow were happening outside. Lovely walk to Taddington Queen’s Head pub (mind the hill) and great walks and views around the country fields too. Thank you!
Agatha & Michael – Jan 2018
We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful accommodation. We journeyed all around the area and found the trip restorative and so enjoyable. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. Thank you!
Steve & Helen – Nov 2017
A really restorative break. Cottage and countryside great. Walking to Chelmorton over snow covered fields on 25th November, a memorable experience. Fully recommend the Sauced Here service too!
Graham & Les with Murfy – October 2017
Quiet location and wonderful aspect, this cottage provides a peaceful break away from civilisation! Very clean and well provisioned. A great holiday!
Jo, Julian, Baxter & Blue – Sept 2017
What a great location. We’ve loved the peace and quiet with the odd visit from a passing cow. Great walks on the Monsal Trail and Tissington Trails with our elderly dog and a lovely lunch at the Royal Oak at Hurdlow. Chatsworth is beautiful, we all enjoyed the gardens and sculpture exhibition. Crich Tramway Museum is a must and so dog friendly. Thank you for a great week.
Pat & Bob, Bessie & Huggy, the dogs – Sept 2017
Thank you for a lovely few days. Great walking and the only day we had that it rained all day went to Chatsworth so the dogs had a welcome rest. Good food at the Church Inn, Chelmorton and ‘large portions’ at the Bull’s Head, Monyash. Both local. Cottage is delightful warm and cosy and ideally situated
