The Hayloft was a delight in every respect….

one of my favourite moments was enjoying my morning cuppa, looking out across the valley from the coziness of the fabulous sitting room…….

actually the nighttime view was equally glorious, the log fire burning, glass of wine in hand……

we should have had our breakfast on the patio, but will save that delight for our next visit……

well equipped, scrupulously clean, very comfortable……we could not have asked for more…….

a wonderful place for a relaxing, getting away from it all and restorative break in the beautiful Peak District

We had a lovely time, thank you.  So quiet & peaceful, fabulous views and slept really well.  May even grab a game of golf at Chatsworth providing the green fees aren’t too high!  What a great place to stay, one of the best we’ve been in over the years, and even the towels were fluffy!  

We’d love to come back and get around the area a little more, George will bring his bike next time, so will be looking to book again soon.

What a wonderful peaceful place

This stay was just what we needed in these difficult times. Great walks, quiet – apart from owls hooting and cows mooing, yet near to Buxton, Bakewell and the magnificent Chatsworth. Now looking to book our next trip.

We had another lovely and very much needed post lockdown break at the Hayloft.
The cottage was still suitably equipped and very comfortable and the kids loved the amazing outdoor space.
Hosts were obliging as ever letting us utilise the well equipped bike lockup.

A lovely stay, in a cottage that has everything you need. Lovely to light the log burner on a wet and windy night. Nice touch that you help yourself to logs from the shed. Would highly recommend.
