We kept our promise and returned; what a fabulous cottage! Very comfy and very cosy. Had a lovely time here visiting sites (loved Ilam Park) and family!!

Beautiful cottage, beautiful views and very comfortable. We have had a lovely few days here with our toddler bringing in the New Year. Enjoyed visiting Bakewell and Buxton, particularly Poole’s Cavern and also went to Longshaw. Cold but perfect and the cottage was a lovely, cosy place on our return. A lovely cottage to match a lovely stay. We went walking everyday in the beautiful Monsal Trail and DoveDale stepping stones. Good night sleep, comfy beds. Warm and cozy, the fire heats the place up nice and quickly. Will recommend this place and already looking forward to next time. I would also recommend Peak Feast in Youlgreave for baked vegan treats!

As always a lovely, comfortable stay. The fog tried its hardest but we got out walking every day and only used our coats on 3 days (out of 10) so great for the time of year. Looking forward to next year already.
