Hayloft Cottage reviews

Thank you so much for such a lovely place to stay! The beds were so comfortable and we really enjoyed the log burner! Having the washing machine was a godsend too after lots of muddy hikes. The cottage is so well fitted out, you’ve really thought of everything, even the carton of milk in the fridge on arrival so we could have a cuppa after a long journey. Gorgeous views, beautiful home from home cottage. We loved it!

Another very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Meeting up with family in Derby and visits to favourite haunts – David Mellor in Hathersage and Edensor – plus a trip to Bolsover Castle – very impressive and an interesting history. Good to see Derbyshire in the spring. Many thanks

Beautiful cottage for a last-minute half-term break. Perfect garden for the boys and dog to play in. Cottage is equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return, maybe in the summer although the rain didn’t stop us having lots of fun. Big walks in the day and drying off playing games round the cozy fire in the evenings! (Food at The Queens was lovely and Hobbes café at Monsal)

Had a lovely stay at the Hayloft, such a gorgeous view and location. We celebrated a special birthday here, and though the weather was mostly wet, we still had a wonderful time staying cosy by the log fire! Thank you
