Although only 45 minutes away, has been a great stay, the cottage is so warm, -6° outside, 21° inside. The Church Inn at Chelmorton is great, proper food, good beer. Dogs have loved it :-)

A very comfortable stay over the New Year period. Well equipped cottage and warm. Beautiful villages and outstanding countryside. the views from the cottage you could not wish for any better. Superb cottage giving access to so many delightful and interesting places. Peak District weather can be an unrelentingly “challenge” however!! The cosy and weatherproof accommodation is a welcome relief from outdoors. Thank you for the friendly welcome, we had a lovely quiet and “remote” Christmas as planned, also for the festive decorations – really “made” the mood.
