A wonderful base to explore both White and Dark Peak. The sun finally made its summer appearance which helped us sample the local pub gardens! Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful end of summer holidays break! The weather was good, mostly dry! We went to Bakewell and Chatsworth House then we braved the cable car up to the Heights of Abraham. There we walked around two caverns and ate lunch at over 555ft! Lastly we walked a LadyBower but gutted the waterfall was off. But still amazing to see. Great location to get everywhere. We’ll be back!

Tranquil setting with glorious views. Perfect! Close to Chatsworth which is well worth a visit. The stone walled lanes are a delight to drive on. Humour is provided by the daily ramblings of their Robocop lawn mower. If it were mine I would customise it with different garbs. Giraffe one day, rubber duck in inflatable ring and others!!
