This is our first stay in the Peak District. The weather was perfect, mainly calm, sunny and warm. Hayloft Cottage is comfortable with an impressive view!!! We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. The cottage is located within easy reach of many attractions. We visited Monsal Head, Soloman’s Temple, Bakewell, Buxton and Eyam to name a few.

What a fabulous place! We’ve loved our few days here. It’s been sunny and we’ve enjoyed a Monsal Head walk, great pub food at Church Inn (Chelmorton), really super Sunday lunch at Packhorse Inn at Little Longstone and a walk around there. Gorgeous cottage, would love to return!!

Spent 5 nights at Hayloft before moving over to Byre cottage. Lovely open cottage, beautiful views and a peaceful stay. Enjoyed bike rides and local walks with our nearly 2 year old. Will be back again :-)

As two octogenarians on our fourth visit (speaks for itself!) we are impressed by the absolute peace and quiet of the Hayloft giving a real sense of tranquility. Bakewell is an excellent compact town with facilities to suit all needs, tastes and pockets. We shall return for more tranquility ASAP
