Peak District cycling can be for everyone. From families with young children just getting to grips with their first bike to the hardiest and fastest of road cyclists, there is lots to see and go at. We have lots of quiet country lanes right on the doorstep, we are mid-way between the Monsal and Tissington trails and this part of the Peak District is great for gravel riding.
Cycle storage
We have secure cycle storage for each cottage
The Peak District and Derbyshire is a great place to get out on your bike, whether on road or off. We understand that if you are bringing your bikes on holiday, then you want to store them safely.
You can also access bike washing facilities, track pumps and some simple tools.
Each cottage has a washing machine and the warm, underfloor heating makes short work of getting things dry.

The Byre Cottage
Sleeps 4 in one double and one twin room. The bedrooms are downstairs whilst the kitchen and living space are upstairs. The open plan space upstairs allows fabulous views over the surrounding countryside.

Sleeps 4 in one double (on a mezzanine floor) and twin room. A large picture window gives stunning views over the surrounding countryside to the south.

PeakCyclingUK have skills sessions, half and full day rides in all disciplines happening throughout the year. They will create a bespoke day out for you if that’s what you’d like to do.
True North Adventures also have skills sessions and run guided rides. They also have a fleet of electric mountain bikes ready for hire. This could be just the perfect opportunity to try an e-bike!
